It was too hot today for pictures... next time.

Research focus... research focus... I have been pondering what I want to write about for my final papers this semester and ultimately, my thesis. Everybody at school has some sort of pedagogical research focus and I'm drawing a blank with myself. I want to write about indie rock, theorize the pretension and the scene that we are currently enjoying or not enjoying. There is a level of pretension in indie, it's nothing new, and I'd like to like it to prescribed literacy and folklore, in some way...
